Dateline is the musical project of Katie Everingham, a musician and songwriter currently based in Heretaunga (Hastings). Her band is made up of the cream of Tāmaki Makaurau’s (Auckland) indie and alternative crop featuring Callum Devlin (Hans Pucket), Priya Sami (BUB) and Ruby Walsh (Lips).

Dateline's music oozes emotion by blending earnest harmonies that hark back to early 00's indie pop, with the cool burn of UK guitar groups from the 90s. Special note must be made of Everingham's lyricism, as she encapsulates the mixed feelings and insecurities that arise from getting older.
